hotswap

hotswap does not work, i swap the disks and all it does is pick up the
other disk, the xbox game. do i have to use a dvd dl drive to do the hot swap. or can i just use my cd writable drive on my computer. i have be using my cd drive.

man you need to keep this in one tread dont keep making new treads.

it must be a DL dvd drive.you have to hot swap.you have to have the cover where it will come off the drive if you hiy the eject button it wont work.

ow sorry, i have a sony DVD/CD rewritable drive
it is duel layer burnable but i don't know how to take it apart.

there is like 4 small screws on the bottom you have to take out

right, i do that but all i see is the bottom of the thing how do i get too the top? like were i put the disks

man i dont have a clue about that kind of drive(cant be that hard).what ive got is a cheap dvd drive from wal-mart.it a interal computer drive and just sit it on the table to do the swap

let me say this man i learned this just for the heck of it.the best way is to pick up a sh-d162c drive to dump the game with

would it be more worth it to just install Xtreme firmware. i have a iXtreme v1.2c right now. so i could use the 360s drive and not have to buy a another one

the hotswap is not that hard once you get it.
