There are a lot of movies that are large enough. Pretty much any recent movie will be the right size and should work for the wxRipper method.

I tried Lord of the rings-The return of the king,it is 7.49gb is that large enough? When I do hotswapping with it,it gives me the magic number and when I start dumping after a while it gives an error, something about I/O Device I cannot remember exactly I will check again.
Did anyone had a similar problem?

What recent movies can you suggest thats large anough any names?

If it was able to find the magic number then your dvd is large enough. If it wasn't, it would have displayed an error that "Your hotswap DVD is not large enough". Check the tutorial for what you can do if you get CRC errors. You can save the layout file and edit it in notepad. I got sick of doing it, so I always save the layout file, then jump the first three lines by using a j. That will make it skip the video partition and then I can add the blank video.iso later using ISOBuilder or SS Merger. It's up to you though.

I did everything according to your tutorial about the layout file and the copy and dummy of the lines everytime it gives me that I/O Device error.

I will try to jump the first three lines and see maybe it will work, thanx man.

Can you please tell me how do you add the blank video.iso using ISOBuilder or SS Merger what are steps to do this?

If you were getting I/O and CRC errors before, you're still going to get them. Like I said, if you can find the magic number just fine, then the hotswap dvd was large enough and has done it's job. Your Lord of the Rings: Return of the King was working fine. Gladiator should as well. The CRC errors are unrelated to what DVD you use.

I tried jumping the first three lines and when it goes to the 4th line and all the other lines its must copy it only gives an error ([email protected] the task could not be performed because of I/O device problem).

I using an Sony dvd rom that is about 5years old for hotswapping, can this be the problem maybe?
Otherwise I must open my Samsung dvd writer and see, because its only 1year old. What do you think? Are you also using the same rom for hotswapping and writng?

I used the same ROM for backing up and writing, back when I used the WxRipper method. The writer of the WxRipper program, Gael360, said it wouldn't work on older drives, so I'm guessing that's your problem. Try using your newer drive and see if you still get those errors.
