First, let me start by saying: I try using the search feature on this site, and never get a result or a result that is related to my search. No matter how many key words or phrases I used today, I get told it is to small a querry. So please keep that in mind if you get angry over something that may have already been addressed. I did try before posting.
So, I am familiar with .nsp, as I backed up my games with SXOS into that file extension. Whenever I want to play one of my backups again, I use SXOS to install the .nsp backup. I have been happy with this and didn't think much more about it considering my overall usage.
However, today I ran across a mention for a file extension '.nsz' which is said to compress the back up files into a much smaller file. I am interested in having smaller files. So, I came here to see if it is natively done or understood by SXOS, currently my preferred (and sole) method of backing up and running my games. I went to the parent site, "tinfoil", and with several clicks, it seems as if .nsp and .nsz are either one and the same or can be interchanged, however: I wanted to be sure if having .nsz from SXOS is possible and wouldn't cause a problem. But searching here doesn't give me any results.
An answer or other help/direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.
