how can i confirm my console is chipped?

Hi,

i've recently bought a 360 modded with the latest ixtreme softmod. How can i confirm that it is actually chipped?

I used to have a modded original xbox and that had a whole new screen. It was one where you had to hold the power button in for a few seconds before the chip turned on. Is it the same with this one or does it automatically turn on the modification?

there should not be a chip in your box.the firmware is a software flash in your dvd drive.
the only way you will know that it is fixed is to put in a backuped game to play.

ah right. i think i need to make my disc images compatible with the ixtreme softmod.
