Doesn't stop you from building that X3 robot of 10 chips...?
Yeah, 1.6b's need a switch for initial flashing or else you would have to do a hotswap or keep trying the backup bios.
Once you have X3 Config Live up and running... its very easy...
I've been meaning to write up some flashing examples...
Here's what I've been working on...
HTTP Flash:
1. Enter HTTP Address to Web Browser
2. Click browse and select file to Flash...
- X3 3294 v16plus.bin (For Xbox 1.6)
- X3 3294.bin (For Xbox 1.0-1.5)
Then 'Upload BIOS'
3. The bios size is calculated and you can select which banks to flash to.
Then click 'Flash it!'
Then watch your xbox do it's flashing...
X3CL_Flash.avi
File size: 17.5 MB (Sorry, I'll compress it more later on...)
Description: X3CL 3029 being updated to X3CL 3294
Complete!
FTP is just as easy...
Just browse into the Admin folder, and upload the file to the bios bank folders...
