I was just wondering how would I be able to flash my chip to other banks aside from the default without the switch. (My switch pins on my chip are messed up)

Thanks.

So you have unplugged the switch and now able to flash the X3 bios... ?
Once you have the X3 bios flashed, you can flash to other banks through there using HDD, FTP and HTTP.
Other switch functions can be done through X3CL, such as select bios bank to boot up on.

Doesn't stop you from building that X3 robot of 10 chips...?

Yeah, 1.6b's need a switch for initial flashing or else you would have to do a hotswap or keep trying the backup bios.
Once you have X3 Config Live up and running... its very easy...

I've been meaning to write up some flashing examples...
Here's what I've been working on...

HTTP Flash:

1. Enter HTTP Address to Web Browser

2. Click browse and select file to Flash...
- X3 3294 v16plus.bin (For Xbox 1.6)
- X3 3294.bin (For Xbox 1.0-1.5)
Then 'Upload BIOS'

3. The bios size is calculated and you can select which banks to flash to.
Then click 'Flash it!'

Then watch your xbox do it's flashing...
X3CL_Flash.avi
File size: 17.5 MB (Sorry, I'll compress it more later on...)
Description: X3CL 3029 being updated to X3CL 3294

Complete!

FTP is just as easy...
Just browse into the Admin folder, and upload the file to the bios bank folders...

Most people forget how cool X3CL is and always go back to FlashBIOS.

FlashBIOS's HTTP method is almost the same except you can't select the bios banks to flash to without the switch.

PS - What are you going to do with all those spare X3CE chips you have ordered? That robot better be cool... :p
