how can u tell the version on an xbox?

windows 7 jungleflasher

Ive modded 20+ xbox's in my time but for some reason after I've installed windows 7 I cant get the xbox to be detected. When I plug my 360 into sata and turn it on my computer freezes and then i reboot and start jungleflasher and it says its detected 3 dvd drives which one is the 360, but when I click on the port its on it says "no drive detected". I've nevr had this problem until I installed windows 7... any ideas? Ide like to upgrade to the new firmware

run as admin

try the old half open tray technique see if that works

im using win 7 but i dont need to use the 2nd option always run as admin tho or things don't load up
