My dad's mate was the guy who chipped my Xbox with the latest Xecuter chip he says. I said I only want this chipped if I can still play on Live! So he said I could, and left the rest to him.
After getting it back after a couple of months, live is still not working. I phoned him up and he said he doesn't know whats up, but he'll look at it, but he lives like over 100 miles away so I can't be bothered getting to him, if he's going to retard it up again or not know what's going on.
So how do I check my chip version, if I find that out maybe I can find out the problem and ask others here too.
So, how do I?
Edit: I have a feeling it' not the X3 as it doesn't look like it on the pictures really. The 'chipper' said to get online I switch the left switch to the right and the LED will go red, and it'll take me to the normal Xbox dashboard and let me play Live, that all works fine and dandy, but it can't find Xbox Live! on the network configuration screen.
My Xbox also doesn't do anything when I hold in the power button, so that's another reason against it being the X3 chip. So guys, please help me out, I'm only young and not that much clued into this stuff, but I'm above beginner.
