Sorry, a lot of that didn't make sense. Have u tried to write a jtag image in jrunner using the 45xx dash etc. if jrunner hasn't got it u can manually at it to the dashes folder in jrunner. Dashes can be downloaded from http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134021 .

You also have to take in to account cb versions, i dont think you can patch a non split cb dash with a split CB, and if you can it will defenatly not work on a retail image. this is why you can downgrade a stock 16547 image to 15574, but not lower. As far as i know you can only downgrade to a dash that shares the same cb.

This is true for retail image, but he is trying to create JTAG/RGH. Theoretically it could be done, but nobody tested as it doesn't make much sense.

Maybe I am missing something, but it seems to make a lot of sense. I acquired some old xenon systems and the general consensus is if the dash and/or cb have been upgraded past the point for an original jtag, then they can only be rgh'd for the dvd keys. If you could rewrite both the dash and cb to exploitable versions, then you could jtag them and make them viable systems again.

LOL if you could do this then there would not be much need for glitch chips, it is not possible.

Sounds to me like he is trying to make a retail dash, better get the OP to confirm.

Eugene opened the can of worms with his statement "Theoretically it could be done". After further review and reading up on Efuses at http://free60.org/Fusesets, it doesn't seem very theoretically possible at all until someone figures out a way to repair the blown fuses.
