BENQ How do i fix a dead drive?

Just got a spare drive i would like to fix, i broke this drive when i used a desktop computer.

i currently now have x360 usb, ck3 lite, monolyx adapter and ck3 probe


can anyone help me fixing it, cos everythimg i plug the ck3 lite in the lights go off,(i think it turned the ck3 lite off)

Is this a spare Xbox 360 drive or a pc drive? What model drive is it? Do you have the key for the old drive?

This is a phillips and benq drive, and i was going to flash it with another dvd key, im guessing seen its a dead drive is proberly not got any firmware in.

What are you using to flash? You will need the key from the old drive and flash it to the new.

i thought i could just put a new dvd key in?

So what is it a phillips liteon or benq? And how did you break it? Does JF detect the drive?

Your drive key is unique and married to your motherboard so you would need the original drive's key in order to replace the old with the new.

Did you throw the old drive away?

ino that the dvd key is unique to the motherboard, i dont even have the motherboard is was that long ago, i just want to put a hitachi 79 dvd key in it, so my brother can have is console flashed
