The ISO only goes on the disc just copy the contents of the disc, not in ISO format to the HDD. Try using DVD2Xbox if you want to copy straight from the the disc onto your xbox

or just use Craxtion4 from www.craxtion.com to extract the contents of the Xbox ISO to a folder on your desktop and ftp the contents over to a folder in your games folder on your xbox. i think you can even ftp in through the craxtion tool and have it directly extract to the xbox hard drive so you don't have to take up space on your pc hard drive. good luck!

I haven't used craxtion yet but I have had a 100% success rate with XDFSextract.exe from xbins, it is done through command prompt but hell it works.

Weeeeeeellllllllllll.......

If you already have the ISO.....and you dont want to waste a dvd just to get the disc's contents off for FTPing, you could download daemon tools (google it) and mount the ISO image and then access its contents as if it were a real disc.

Daemon Tools lets you mounts CD or DVD images to virtual drives for use as if the image was a real disc.

thats for mounting a standard iso image, xiso images have a completely different format. use craxtion.

BenQ drive help

So I finally decided to mod my 360 and after reading exactly how to do it, I successfully flashed the LT+ firmware onto my BenQ drive using jungle flasher. After this, I used the system for several days, playing movies off of burnt media dvds, and playing original games and had no problems. Yesterday, I finally went to burn a backup of Halo Reach and the first couple tries failed because I did not realize I needed to stealth the game for LT+ to load it. When I finally burnt a copy the 360 would load, the game froze after about 15 minutes or so, we I reloaded the game, it froze sooner and then sooner when I reloaded again. I thought that the burn may have gone wrong so I burnt another copy and loaded it this morning. Again, it took about 15 minutes to freeze. Wondering if it was my drive at this point, I decided to load an original game to see if I could play it, and it also froze. Is this because of the flash, and trying to load a backup, because nothing was wrong until I attempted to load a backup. Or is this the beginnings of RROD. If it is RROD, then could someone please point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to fix it? Thank you.

Re: BenQ drive help

So I decided to do an experiment to determine if it was my drive that was causing the freezing and I do not think it is. I say this because I took the disc out of the drive, watched a couple videos I had saved on my hard drive, then tried to play a game demo I had downloaded quite awhile ago. While playing the game demo, the system froze up again and the screen went black. With what I have been reading, I think this means that the cpu or motherboard is overheating. Is it possible that the overheating is being caused by the heatsink not being in proper contact with the cpu because I did not tighten the screws enough when I put the system back together. And if so, would it be best to get some thermal paste, take the system apart, use the thermal paste and then make sure that everything is really tightly put together when I finish?

Re: BenQ drive help

i doubt its from the screws not being tight. i basically hand tighten all mine back on to make it easier for updating anf ive never had an issue. probably just shook something loose when you took it apart. try blowing everything off and trying again. also make sure your power and video cables are in all the way.

if nothing else then do this fix
works great but the music in the video will make you want to shoot yoruself.

Re: BenQ drive help

this is nothing to do with flashing the drive it sounds like you need the xclamp fix on your gpu

Re: BenQ drive help

I did the fix, but I think I may have damaged the motherboard or something in the process, because now instead of freezing when I play a game, the system actually shows the rrod. I visually examined the mboard and didnt see anything wrong, but does anyone have any idea as to what I should do now seeing as the xclamp fix just made it worse (again, likely because I damaged something)
