Get the textbook tutorial

Read it

Assume you have already completed all the steps up to and including reading your orig.bin - put it in the correct place and continue the process

Exactly, run samtool using the orig.bin from your original drive and a fresh iXtreme 1.2 bin and then flash it to the new drive using the 10-sec bad flash method.

hi

ok i have used samtool to copy my key into the ixtreme fw . i run mtkflash/m/r/sata ixtreme.bin in dos . done the 10 sec bad flash and it doesn't run . it kust comes up error cannot read file .

am i doing something wrong. also i have managed to get my ms28 to eject but if iput a game in it says " to play this disk put it in a 360 " so how do i get my orig fw back on that so i can flash it with the ixtreme fw . i get same error when trying to flash that as well .

got 2 drives here now and can't get any working

cheers for the help so far and sorry for being a pain

That's not the correct MTKFlash flash command you have listed there...you should be typing...

MTKFLASH W /M /SATA IXTREME.BIN

Obviously IXTREME.BIN needs to be on the root of the USB where mtkflash.exe is.
