Hey guys. I just recently did my first RGH with success on the first try. The only thing is I'm getting fairly inconsistent boot times. Sometimes it will be 1-4 glithes and other times can take up to 2 minutes to glitch. ATM I'm using the coolrunner flashed with trinity timing files with the switch in slim mode, and using the POST QSB. I originally had it wired without it but I found I got a few more quicker boots with the QSB instead. I am thinking about getting some of that shielded cable TX is now recommending for the CPU_RST wire (and others) and what I'm wondering is how you are supposed to route the new suggested 50ohm cable to the QSB on the slim with only 8cm length?. Considering the cable has to go through the hole in the motherboard and the cable is so fat theres no possible way you could re-mount the board properly afterwards is there? Or is there something I'm missing? Because as stated by TX they suggest using it with the POST QSB. If anybody has any pics of them using the new wire routed to the bottom of the board I invite you to share them as I have only seen one picture of this new cable being used and it was on a PHAT console and using the alternate point on the top of the board.

To clarify I do not currently have any of this cable yet as I'm unsure of the routing, plus xconsoles shipping rates are rediculous ($20 shipping for a 75 cent cable? u must be joking). If anyone knows of a canadian seller that carries this cable it would help me alot.

Unfortunatly I live in Victoria, which is fairly close to the US border but would have to go by water/air to reach here so I'm guessing the UPS store option wouldnt be applicable.

As for the cable, yeah it does resemble regular TV coax cable although slightly thinner and seemingly more flexible from what I could tell from the picture of the phat install with it. But considering TX mainly recommended it for SLIM installs with the POST QSB im very surprised I'm not seeing many posts about it or anyone else asking how to do it. Because I dont see how it could possibly be routed properly without some case cutting. Even the tiny gauge wire that comes with the coolrunner comes within just a couple hairs widths of being pinched by the motherboard mount when re-seated. Hopefully someone comes along with some insight and pics of a SLIM install with this new 50ohm wire to the POST QSB.
