UPDATE: I've just done a re-flow...and guess what? It is booting normally into the dash. Now I don't know what to do...to try to RGH the consile again or just to let it as it is?

I'd give the RGH another go, don't let it beat you mate :D I recommend FiB3R's glitch guide.

Good man, look forward to reading the results. Top tip, run the CPU_RST topside along the edge of the board near fans and solder topside. (Stolen from Martin C) :D

Can I use thin wire? It has a single wire inside and it's easier to solder.

OK, I'll do that for CPU_RST and I must avoid the coils :D

Should I use electrical tape until I see it's working and then hot glue to fix them 4ever?

I would recommend using the wires that came with the coolrunner. If you need some nee ones, use the ones in the slim wires side of the pack. I've not used any other type of wire for my installs.

The supplied wire is extremely easy to solder to the points, it's why it's in there :D

Tip 1, tin the end of the wire, flux the point to solder to, heat point then touch with some solder, you should now have a nice little solder point. Touch iron on point to solder to, add wire to point, remove iron. Check joint. 3 seconds should be more than sufficient in each point with the iron.

Tip 2. Watch Martins soldering vids

I don't use hot glue, one my gun is sh*te an two it's hard to lift if you need to. Use electrical tape or Kapton tape if you have some. Never had any issue with elec tape myself.

OK, thanx. Soldering is not an issue, this is the wire I want to use(used it for repairing the track)

I only mentioned the soldering as your joints didn't look that great tbh. But I can't comment on the single core wire........only one way to find out :D

Tried. Dumped bins, got .ecc, flashed .ecc. Coolrunner is trying to glitch(the green let is blinking once at every 3-5 seconds) but with no success. I followed Fib3r's tutorial. Any ideas?

If I have the greenlight on the CR it means that is installed correctly, right? How moch should I let it try to glitch? I tried several times, I let the console running 1-2 minutes every time

My falcon glitches 1st time every time. Other than checking your soldering or rerouting wires i'm not sure yet. Post some pics of your install as it is now mate.

it may just be how you have routed the wires on the underside of the mobo.

the green wire and blue wire.

pics of how you got them would help.

Try routing like this. (With CPU_RST soldered on top, have moved mine since that picture) Glitch first time on my Falcon.

rerouted again, still no luck. I forgot to mention, I'm using the latest dash, could that be a problem?
