I've noticed that, in 360 multibuilder I got

5 - Falcon / Opus [CB 5771]

and in 360 flashtool, when opening the original NAND I get

CB 5761,

should that be a problem?

If you are JTAGGIN now, what jtag method are you using? AUD_CLAMP DVD_TRAY?

Try with component cable

I would recreate the ecc but use the command lines and not jtag tool
Yes. I just did a JTAG on a Falcon with AUD_CLAMP DVD_TRAY method.

Had E79 error.

Flashed falconALT.bin manually with nandpro.

That fixed it, and its now working.:)

One more question, sometimes boots but has no image, sometimes I get 3 RROD. If I try to start it from the eject button I always get RROD. I'll try to find a component cable, I'm not sure if I have one.

I used a heat gun.
I cannot get a component cable as I don't have and nobody have one near me.

Epic fail!

If you used a regular heat gun, there's a chance you've fried something else in the process.

Ok, but how does it boot into the dash then?

In not saying it won't work, but it's not recommended at all. The equipment the guys use to safely reflow gpu's is tailored for that purpose. Just saying mate, there may be some irreversible damage done.

Anyway, I took this xbox with 50 EUR, aprox 60-70 USD, to have it reflowed i should spend about the same amount of money and it isn't for sure that will be working. I preferred to do that myself(of course, I isolated all except CPU, GPU and memory, sustained the memory underneath the board ) and the RROD was gone so I was able to boot into the dash. If I can fix it from here OK, if not...that's it. All I need is CPUkey to be able to decrypt DVDkey.

The AUD_CLAMP DVD_TRAY method is explained in Jtag Tool. Its easy.

falconALT.bin is in Jtag Tools XELL Bins directory.

Nandpro USB: -w16 falconalt.bin

A heatgun is not the same as reflowing it. Never confuse the two. I do reflows for £30 (approx 30EUR) where proper liquid flux is applied under the chip and a lead-free heat profile is applied to the point the solder balls are liquid (you can actually move the chip at this stage). THIS is a reflow. Even at that, for £50 I replace the GPU completely if it's needed which WILL fix the issue.

UPDATE: I just got another Falcon, everything went OK, the xell is booting in 1-2 secs everytime. I got to this part without problems:

"Once you see "Image written, shut down now!" on your screen, turn off the console and remover the power for at least 30 seconds, and remove the USB key."

Shut it down, removed USB, assembled back to the case, mounted DVD-ROM. Now, it does not boot into the dash, CR is sending signals. I still can boot to xell from the eject button. What should I do?

Could it be because of Martin post?

[RGH] LDVs and why they are important

Yeap, the LDV trick did it. RGH'ed, up an runnin'. This is, by far, the most comprehensive and complete XBOX forum. Thank you !
