i have just installed x3ce chips in my 1.0v and help a friend with his 1.4v. we followed the tut on teamexcutor of pin install on the 1.4v. wired installed the 1.ov with unoffical noob guide. both of them frag. we both know how to solder b/c it's apart of our profession. we've checked the solder pionts over and over resoldering anything that might look to have a poor connection. but both frag.

on the x3ce chip there are 2 blue leds and 1 red. with the 1.0v the front switch board hd led is on and symbol is red can't change any of modes of the chip. when ejected is pressed lan light comes briefly. when the chip is taken off the wire adaptor for lpc or d0/lan/hd connectors boots just like a stock xbox.

on 1.4v everything is basically the same but can boot with a long press to disable the chip.

i have be reading forums and tuts for countless hours now and before we got are chips so can advoid any problems. on this forum http://www.teamxecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24562 it shows a zipped picture of a d0 chip/adaptor (which comees x3ce)soldered on the back of the board. have looked for a while now to find out how to install it. i feel this what is causing our problems.

also we did try using different banks with no change.

the LPC rebuild is only for XB version 1.6. and it gets soldered on the top of the MOBO IF you actually had to use it. if you would have actually read anything, you would know that. now that you soldered the LPC rebuild on a non-v1.6 you might have fried something on the MOBO, but im not sure what those points on a non-1.6 version are actually putting out as far as voltages.

BTW, the soldering in that zipped picture is total crap. that person should be shot...

i have done researched on this. don't take me to be totally naive. in tuts that i've seen on they do not show lpc mod on top nor at all. for 1.6v they show a bunch of jumps on the bottom of the board. i never seen that piece used at all. you can show a link with what you're talking about i would be greatful.

would you have an idea something we can try?

i'm so retarted. i looked over the lpc again (where you put the connector for the chip at) and i didn't solder in the black wire. i was thinking it have to be connected. i just didn't notice the color on the tut. the chip works just as avertised. i probably sould stop trying to this late at night.

this forum should definity be deleted. i wish i had that power.
