How do you boot to FlashBIOS

I have 2.3b lite, but I came here because this was the only bios channel in these forums that I saw. I want to know how you "boot to flashbios" to begin flashing (in this case with the 5029). I want to try this via http thing, but I was just wondering how I get to the main flashbios screen in the first place. Anyway, basically i know how to flash with a cd, and if they only way to boot to flashbios is by booting off a cd, then what is the purpose of network/hard drive flashing if you could just put the bios on the cd? I hope I made a little sense, any help would be greatly appreciated.

the network flashing is for the X3 chip but u can download a program called flashX. burn it to a cd and then u would be able to flash your X2 lite on the fly from the hard drive to what ever bank u wanted

also the only way to get to flash bios on the X2 is to flash the flash bios to ur chip once u flash over the flash bios its no longer there
