So, I bought the qsb and the cool runner. I understand how it works and what it does, i just don't know how to put it. Like i know where to put it, but here's what i think should happen. You install the qsb and then connect it to the jr programmer and then to the computer and the install the cool runner and then read the ecc file or something like that. Anyways, are you supposed to connect the qsb to the cool runner? I'm just so confused about this picture: http://imgur.com/jrDKedw because you can see them connect it. If so, can anybody please tell me the process summarized? I've been searching everywhere and can't find anything. I have the qsb v3 trinity, cool runner 4 xl, and the jr programmer v2. Sorry, if i sound really dumb, I just started modding, abd have seen tutorials. The only problem is that there's nothing about qsb v3 and most or all are direct soldering. If anyone know, please help :(

the coolrunner 4 is already programmed so no u need no connection to it.just solder ur qsb, hook up jr programmer and read nand ,if 2 dumps come out fine then write ecc,you should reallllly be doing more reading in the jrunner pdf thats included with jrunner before you go any further here.

Thanks for replying! so I found this site: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/show...ty-RGH-w-CR4-XL-install-in-progress-but-stuck The thing that confuses me is that I didn't even know you were supposed to solder that orange thing with the 2 legs. Should I use this for reference or no? Im a noob and kinda confused about how to wire them.

Edit: Why did the guy connected the red wire? Im sorry if this is a dumb question :/
