I just recently purchased a modded XboX and requested X3 chip to be installed. How do I know I have the chip installed without opening the system? Will the system say X3 upon booting?

Isn't there a switch on the front of it with an X on it?

whats pmt

So first whats pmt? And now, why the hell are people making home made duct tape probes? I pre ordered the lizard just to have it, Ive looked at it but havent taken it out of the box yet. Now all im seeing all over the internet is probe making competitions and promises of future firmware updates and the possibility of being A stand alone pc less tool. So, what the [email protected] does this thing I spent a 100 bucks on do if i gotta make sh*t for it?! Apparently it looks like I should have waited for the executor model. Or maybe maximus should have delayed another month LOL! Also, I get this jacked up message with the new Jungle Flash saying no libusb.dll wont run try reinstalling message. Whats all that about anyone? Like always slightly confused amd mostly disturbed.

Re: whats pmt

In a nutshell it is for getting the key off of the Fat LiteOn drives without having to do the MRA hack.
No more cutting the traces and soldering

All you need to do is cut wire 6 and then put in a switch between the cut ends
Then with wire 5 just strip back some of the insulation and the solder in some sort of probe ( I used an old Multimeter probe for this )

Re: whats pmt

Once you have made you probe you need to find MPX01 point on your LiteOn DVD drive board

You then need JungleFlasher 0.1.79b

Then you need to do the following :-

Turn CK3 Main Power ON and then refresh port

Press PhatKey, then Yes

Disconnect 3.3v by using your new switch, Probe MPX01, thne connect 3.3v by using your new switch

After status 0x52 remove Probe from MPX01, wait for message. Turn off 3.3v again, wait for 5 seconds, then power on 3.3v

Press OK.

You should then be able to save all your files

The info and readme came with the new Jungle Flasher :)

x360USB Support
----------------------------------------
Initial support for x360USB added - More to follow at release
LibUSB is required, if you dont have LibUSB installed, LibUSB0.dll is required to run JF. Correct file is included and should be copied to JF folder if needed.

so how do u use it?
Biteable gave you the link and info in the previous post on exactly how to use it :)

As promised here is the professional version of the CK3 Probe 3. Speaks for itself. The easiest, safest, most flexible “PMT” no-cut/no-solder probe for Liteon drives.

No capacitors, no discharging, no power clips, enhanced extraction code built into X360USB and Jungle Flasher to give instant key extraction with no need for prolonged probing of the PCB or timing your power cycles or any other waiting around or messing about.

Also tested working with the Samsung Bad Flash Recovery Method (mostly not required with X360USB Pro as it will recover 99% of Samsung recovery / Bad Flash situations – but its a working backup all the same)
We have also designed the CK3 Power Cable so that it can be used to convert any CK3 probe (v1 / v2 / v2.1 / Mini probe) to a fully functional PMT capable probe. Naturally the cable is a lot cheap than buying a Probe 3 so YOU save money !

It’s this simple (Connect using X360USB PRO & Jungle Flasher of course):

1. Press the PhatKey button, then click Yes
2. Hold Probe 3 Button down (LED OFF), connect probe to MPX01, release Probe 3 Button (LED ON)
3. Extract Complete will be instantaneous when using X360USB PRO, now remove probe from MPx01
4. Press and release the Probe 3 button again then click OK
5. Done!
