This may seem like a dumb question, but how do you pronouce Xecuter? Is it pronouced like execute, follow by an r, or as my brother pronounces it, like executive, without the -ive but followed with er?

my friend called it executive (-er) also, but ive always thought it was executer, as in an execution.

Dropping the leading "e" from words starting with "ex" is just trendy and hip, like adding "e" or "i" to the front is supposed to denote cutting edge technology.

Macs are powered by PowerPC chips, the new Xbox is powered by a PowerPC chip ... lucky marketing is with Microsoft on this one, and the new box wasn't called the "iGame Xtreme" and sold in fruity colours. Then again, a sleek rounded box designed like the iPod - all organic curvy and smooth - would be cool, but probably mistaken for a Phantom console v3 prototype

Actually, being Australian, I'd pronounce it - eck se cue ta ... but I know that's just me talking through my nose (instead my ass).
It's interesting the names chosen for the two major competing chip makers. Xecuter, taken, in my opinion, from the word execute, which at it's core means, to get something done, and Xodus, taken obviously from exodus, a word defined as "a departure of a large number of people". I believe the large number of people in question are Team Xodus's customer base. Once they see what Team Xecuter has to offer, they depart from Xodus.
I'm glad I got it right the first time.
Granted, this seems like a suck-up, but it's just an honest testamonial to one of the best investments I've made in recent history. I love my X3box!

The X3 has been my best investment for sure.
The chip does everything that it was supposed to and so much more.
In fact, some of the features I am still discovering. Learn something new everyday within the bios features.

well I guess that that was a good question since no one has ever said it and been put on TV other than Kevin Rose from G4TechTV's show The Screen Savers he said it a couple of times when they did a special on XBOX modding other than that no one has said it so it is a great question

Yeah, I don't know what to think of Smartxx except that I don't particularly care for either their name or their products.
Wasn't a "diss". I just think it's an odd name, and when I was looking them up, X3 just seemed better. I've got nothing egainst them, I just wouldn't use one.

I personally haven't used their product but have nothing against them. I actually respect that they can release products without a whole lot of accompanying smack talk.

Alright alright. I think we are just going in circles now, there is no point in continuing this haha. Xecuter already told us how to pronounce it (and it's the same way that all sane people original announced it) so lets move on
