How do you tell what version of Modchip Is Installed

When my screen boots up I now recall it said version 2. It's a solderless chip but I'm not sure how to tell what version. My delema is that I purchased a new xbox which turns out to be a 1.6b version. Before checking I took out the chip from my old xbox and installed it in the new one. Of course, it did not work. I then re-installed it back in my old xbox which still works. It lights up green but it now no longer shows the blue xecuter 2 screen and will only play original xbox games. Not sure what I've done.

Thank you so much for your assistance. I've reviewed all the modchip photos and the closest looks like it's either a Xecuter Pro or Xecuter Lite Plus. Neither are exact. I've created a Hotmail account and posted a picture in the only email there. It's shows that it's from disk disk.

DJBOOBY - we're you able to check out my hotmail site to view my chip. I'm still unsure as to why my chip suddenly stopped after I uninstalled it then re-installed it.

Are you saying to take the chip out and put it back in even though it is showing Green or are you saying to update the chip.
I didn't install the chip O so many years ago. Is there something I need to do to the chip after it's been installed or should this already be on the chip because it worked before
