how doi get into X3 Config Live ??

Hi guys total n00b here I was wondering on a couple of things

1) how do i get into X3 Config Live? (all i get is a screen saying FlashBios 3.0.3 and the options to upload bios form HDD, HTTP, CD, and lock and unlock HD)

2) What does it mean to lock and unlock the HD?

OH also i tried holding down the white button on the controller next to the black button and turn the power on it still boots to FlashBIOS 3.0.3 screen. PLEASE HELP!!

1) The reason why you can't get into X3 config live is because you haven't flashed your chip with any of the X3 BIOS. Look in my sig for the "X3 n00b guide", it will have your answers. Also loo in the Xbox-scene.com tutorial section

2) You need to lock the hard drive to access the original Xbox dashboard and to go on XBL. If you will only run the Xbox modded you dont need to lock the HDD. You also need to unlock the Hard drive if you want to swap it.

Is there a controller sequence to use to get back into the X3 config live? I load automaticaly into the MS dash now because my avalaunch.xbe got renamed(long story) and I cant ftp back into the box

is there a pass on avalaunch or how can i get back to my x3 config live???

CD burner is not burning

My cd burner is not burning. It reads and plays CD & DVDs just fine. It use to burn CD's but now it doesn't. When i try and burn a CD it goes through the whole process of burning. But when the CD comes out it comes out blank. Don't know what is wrong with it. I have Windows XP.
