1) if you have the CPU key, you can use a donor decrypted keystream and your 15572 dump to recreate a glitch image

2) if you have the 14719 dump, but not the CPU key, you can create an .ecc (using the XOR hack) to glitch into xell to get your CPU key

EDIT: if you have both, the process is much easier

1) Obvious, since CPU key will make clouds part and a ray of light shine down

2) Thank you! Without CPU key, it wouldn't have occurred to me to build a ecc from a previous dash's NAND for use with a newer dash update. It's so obvious, but I guess I had to read it before it clicked. :redface:

from reading all these posts . I have concluded from the following

1 rgh1 is now dead on dual nands that is

2 if you have a rgh1 nand get cpu key from that desolder coolrunner for rgh1 configuration boot back to stock nand update to 14719....
3 dump new stock 14719 nand
4 resolder coolrunner for rgh2
5 make 14719 dash via jrunner
6 upload to nand
7 boot console viola you are ready for demon and 15772

8 leave rgh1 console as it is make 15772 dash through jrunner when its uploaded .. Buy another console for live


please correct me if I am wrong .. Just so much speculation going on it seems lots of people are getting confused

Demon simply switches nands, so you don't have to reflash your nand manually to change "modes". To get on xbox live, you need to have all the fuses burned to the latest. To run RGH1, you cannot have the last two fuses burned.

Do you see the problem now?

So to dual boot xbox live and hacked mode, you need an exploit that doesn't rely on fuses (hmm RGH2!).

@tonyjandc you just took my thoughts.

Besides others I have RGH'd Jasper (original RGH), great working.

I met condition 1) from the OP - I have CPU KEY.

I have my own orig. NAND dump, but it constains dashboard 12625 (as it was originally installed on my Jasper and I started from that) so I don't met condition 2) from the OP.

My plan is to put DemoN inside this Jasper, when it comes.

I'm still not clear if I also need orig. dump from my console constaining dashboard 14717/14719 for further use, like with DemoN or whatever. If so, the only way I can obtain required dump is like this?

1) flash back my original dump with DB 12625
2) update to either 14717/14719 using an official M$ update
3) make a new nand dump

Accepting that after this I HAVE TO change my RGH installation to RGH 2.0 (because of new DB version originally in my NAND), hence accepting probably worse boot times on my Jasper.


I'm sorry if I did not understand that from what I've read through this topic, but I better ask twice before do something insane.

yes thats it flash back orignal, upgrade to 17/19 dash then you will have the split cb dump this then when you have what is needed.

Slims: 13146, 13599, 14699, 14717, 14719 seems to be missing 13604,,,think just forgotten !
slims already have split cb where phats didn't until 14717/14719
so basically if you have a nand dump with the dash's above and your CPU key you're set with a slim
phat's are the more confusing, you need a nand dump from 14717/14719 ...updated officially so it has the split CB

this is what i'm doing : leave rgh1 console as it is make 15772 dash through jrunner when its uploaded ( when i'm forced to) and using another console for live

Bad part is...it's like MS is forcing me to glitch my GOW Slim, lol. I was gonna leave it stock, as I use it for live. If it ever got banned, I would just glitch it and use it for offline. Now I've gotta glitch it before I update if I want to glitch it later, lol. I'm just gonna glitch it for my key, desolder my 3v, restore to stock, update to 15572 and wait for a demon. Solder in the demon, make myself a glitched image with +1 to the LDV and I'm good to go on the demon. I probably never would have bothered if not for this update, lol.
