How often will I need to alter my nand?

Ok, I have very little knowledge about the previous Jtag hack since I was never fortunate enough to own one. I do know how it was done and what it was capable of just not the in's and outs of the programming.

With the upcoming rgh I know that the Coolrunner will be a one time permanent install but how often will I need to alter the nand.

The reason I ask is that if it is going to be more then a few times I was planning on running the nand-x cables out through the top of my case near the hard drive so I only need to plug the nand-x in and never have to take the case apart again. :biggrin:

You will have to wait untill a booter is actaully completed.

With the old jtags you can update without having to connect your nandx back up so hopefully this will be the same in the future

Thanks a lot. I know were still waiting on a booter. Lol

I'm pretty bored at the moment so I think I still may make a slot to put the cables out through.

I guess it will be a waste of time if we will be able to update through the dash (I hope we will. Less chance of me screwing it up) but it will still look neat if I do it right.
