My 360 has issues booting directly to fsd. I've come to terms with this. I have the latest version of dashlaunch 3.xx, (dont remember the exact version), and I cannot seem to figure out how to launch to nxe by default (since I dont seem to have boot directly issues when I boot to nxe).

not sure but do you want FSD as Default or NXE as Default. Can you post your launch ini file?

Just remove any reference to FSD in the launch.ini file and update? :p

Edit: when I say update I mean update DashLaunch by running it.

I hate TapaTalk auto correction. Please bare with me.

Im trying to boot to nxe for now since i cannot reliable launch to fsd... just realized if i hold x I can launch to nxe which answers my question where to set the default launch file since its in the ini already... But yeah no one can figure out why it fails to boot to fsd consistently

Option 1: delete FSD from your HDD using XexMenu and replace it with a fresh install or remove it all together if you don't want it anymore (will boot to stock dash by default ).

Option 2: remove the path to FSD in the ini file.

Usually holding down the RB takes you to NXE,are you sure that the name and location for the FSD folder is correct?

FYI holding 'X' using that launch.ini is supposed to boot XeXMenu, since it can't find XeXMenu it falls back to NXE. I believe like Krafter said you can just delete the entry after 'default' and you will no longer boot into FSD.

Yes I got the ini functioning right for me now... though it still is puzzling why it occaisionally fails to boot. but yeah i might try another clean slate of FSD
