How to boot X3 os when the boot to x3 config is set to off?

How to boot X3 OS when the boot to x3 config is set to off, and a Dashboard is autobooting when the xbox starts.

There must be someway to get around this and boot the X3 OS so you could set som settings..?!?! but how?!!?

Just hold the white button on the controller on bootup.

Just in case anyone actually uses the search button and finds this thread in the future, using the 1953 BIOS, the white button trick did not work, but holding down the green A button on bootup did. Why? Who knows, but now the white button IS in fact working. Can't explain this at all ... but if the white button doesn't work, then there are other options to try before hiting the forums.

Yeah, its called experimenting. Do this before u use the search button.
