how to change logo with X3logo.bmp

Hi, ive obtained the x3logo.bmp file and have no idea what to do with it next, i would like to change the logo underneath the X logo and dont know how to do it, ive tried looking in all forums but nothing covers what i need to know, please help

Changing the X3 Logo

Hey,
I've placed the X3logo.bmp on the root of the E: and it still displays the default logo. Any ideas why its not working?
Im using X3 Bios 1959

There was another thread about this just this morning.

Check your file dimensions (Size) and do a little searching.

Shouldn't have to look back that far.

Ya it was the dimensions. I I had it as 180 by 51. haha

yes it needs to be 180 by 50 and 256 coulor and it should work fine
