if i were you id source a hdd case for the 500gb and install it as an internal drive, move your profiles to that and keep the 1tb as FAT32 external to use all 100% capacity of it so you would have 1.5TB of storage available.
thank you gazcoigne for the advise!
I will do that later. Currently 1TB usage is only 600GB, I still have enough space at this time. So, now my 500GB portable hdd is backup only.
But please help me how can I do that.
My xbox have 4GB internal. What is the use of this 4GB since all the data (profiles, games and apps, freestyle files, and games folder) are on the 1TB?

As I understood in your advise, I will replace that 4GB using 500GB hard disk. So I will check, open the enclosure and see if the harddisk inside the 500GB will fit inside the xbox.

Why not both portable hdd (500GB and 1TB) mounted on the xbox via USB ports?
Will it work? If yes, how could I configure the two portable hdd? I tried before, data (profiles, games and apps, f3, games folder) in 500GB and fat32 1TB with games folder did not work, it could not play the games content on 1TB, but could play games content of 500GB? Please help to understand. Thank you.

the 4GB is permanently part of your console..you don't remove it..you could have moved your profiles and game saves to it and left them there
you could use both portable hard drives for games by using the USB ports but you would need to set the scan paths to read both of them...or like i said in my earlier post you could dismantle the 500gb portable ( if its a 2.5 inch one) and insert it into the hard drive bay of your console ( it just plugs in but a caddy would make it even easier and neater)..it's pretty easy to do.....this is all easy stuff...

Thank you talby71!
If I use 4GB for profiles/contents data and two hdd in USB ports, what should be the format of the two hdd, Fat32 formatted by windows, no need to format using xbox normal dash to configure it as memory unit?
Where should I put the F3 files? in the 4gb memory, or on one of the two hdd?

As i mentioned above, I tried before, data (profiles, games and apps, f3, games folder) in 500GB and fat32 1TB with games folder did not work, it could not play the games content on 1TB, but could play games content of 500GB, and I also added the game paths of the two portable hdd (usb0 and usb1 games folder).
I will take note on your advise, thank you...
