You could use the UnleashX dashboard and FTP direct from one XBOX to the other. UnleashX has a built in FTP server and an FTP client built into its file manager.

Is there any way to do it with the setup I have. I will explain

Xbox 1 ( where files are, has XBox Media Center Dash )

Xbox 2 ( where I want the games to go, It has X3 chip, and i have Avalaunch dash board.

I am using a cross over cable connected from one xbox to the other.

How do I transfer? Beening trying now for over an hour. Can't figure it out.

You need an FTP client running on one of the XBOX's. Doesn't matter which one. If on XBOX1 you will upload to XBOX2. If on XBOX2 then you will download from XBOX1.

I personally use UnleashX but try this tutorial which does the same thing using Avalaunch.

http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbox-to-xbox-copy.php

XBOX1 fulfills requirements 4 and XBOX2 fulfills requirement 3 in above.

I am assuming that you have already setup all network IP settings on both XBOX's correctly . If not you will have to set you IP address details on both XBOX's in Avalaunch and XBMC respectivly. Use static addresses 192.168.0.1 on XBOX1 and 192.168.0.2 on XBOX2 as a starting point.

unleashX is ok for xbox to xbox transfers but I prefer Avalaunch. It automatically detects other xbox's running avalaunch and transfers in boost mode.
I get about 1 gig a minute transfer rate. Copies faster then dvd2xbox!

Suggestions Needed

I had my xbox 360 chip modded, i do not know what kind it was as i dropped it off somewhere and it was done.
Recently my friend brought over the new Castlevania and it wouldnt work, the screen kept saying to insert a Xbox 360 disc to play or something like that (it was the white screen). at first i thought it might of been an update (last update was nov 09 i think) so i did an update via usb (my console got back in april) to spring version 9909..or close to that. After the update i put the game back in and still it wouldnt work.
I popped the dvd in my laptop to check the files written in them and i noticed that my older games had 3 files (the video folder, the sound folder and a folder that read system update) while the castlevania only had 2 files (video and sound), im thinking this might be the problem for the game not working on my console.
At this point im wondering if i should have my console flashed to avoid this problem in the future or continue with the set up i have and just...copy the extra file on a new dvd?

Re: Suggestions Needed

your console should have the flash updated, or you can patch the .isos to an earlier wave
