How to debug on an XDK??

Hi I would like to start off by saying that I am not sure if there is a section dedicated to this sort of topic, so I am posting in this forum. If this is a problem and there is a better place to post, can a moderator or admin please close this thread and PM where to repost it? Okay, so I am wanting to learn how to debug on an XDK. In short, I want to take an mw2 tu6 menu and debug it to find all the functions in it, then use ida to update those functions to tu8. If it's not allowed to post on this subject, I ask that you please PM me if you know how to help. Thanks in advance everyone!!!!
