How to do a system update with a flashed drive?

I successfully flashed to l.t 3.0, And now i am prompted to perform a system update. How can I do this without getting banned?Sorry if this was asked before,I could not find an guide.I have my keys and everything.

what dashboard are you on ?

the best thing to do would be flash back to stock update then reflash with LT3

you flashed to LT 3 so you should be able to flash back to stock

you will find what dashboard your on in console settings

Never ! I mean NEVER update the dash with LT firmware written on the DVD-ROM, there are many chances you'll get an error during the update.

revert to stock --> update the dashboard --> write LT3

Need more information. What kind of drive/console is this? what dashboard is the console on right now?

Find your Dashboard / Kernel version:
Turn on your xbox and go to console settings.
Go to system info, then find Kernel, or K: 2.0.######.0
