How to Extend the XLCD cable

Hi!
I Just got a fine set from mrmodchips, but I want to build a "box" for my XLCD and put it ontop of my tv some metres away from my xbox,

how can I extend the XLCD cable?

Thanks for making the Best modchips,
I just love your products and just got the x3+xlcd+pro switch.

problem is they dont have the same position on both ends of the cable, so I would have to do it cable by cable, and it would look real ugly.

you could do it 1 by one and just put electrical tape around it, but have it so you dont see the electrical tape (tape wire in back of screen or something before it comes out with tape on it)

I'll do it one one on one if there is no other way, I'd much rather build a whole new cable if possible,
but I would not tape it, i'd use another method that I don't know what it's called in english but it makes the cables stick.

do it cable by cable and then put heat wrap around it so its not ugly
