how to flash a non chiped box

i have an xbox and its only been flashed no mod chip installed and i was wondering how to update my bios with a new version i have xecuter 2 flashed on my box and i dont know what one to put in and how to do it my box is v1.0 and ive put a new hdd in it so space in not a prob so if u can help me id thank u from the bottom of my heart

i dont know if u understood me or not its already flashed and i just want to put a newer ver of xecuter thats all very syimple well its easy for me to say lol coz i dont know all the steps haha

I don't think you understood manu_xl... This is a forum for modchips, specifically the Xecuter modchips. You say you have NO chip installed... therefore, our help at telling you how to flash your modchip (which, again, you say you DO NOT HAVE) will be useless. Check Xbox-Scene.com for TSOP flashing tutorials.

yes i dont got a chip but i got the xecuter running as my bios that must count for something coz i give mad props to xecuter for all there work my friend has xecuter 2.3 chip and it works great but all im asking if xecuter has a new program that i may use

I think he means that most of us haven't flashed an un-modded XBox... so we really can't help with the how-to. There is a new BIOS out ---- 3108. You can get it at xbins. Other than that, I don't know how to flash a non chipped box... I didn't know you could.

thanks for the clarification Catalyst. Raff... the 3108 X3 and 5028 X2 BIOS was released just recently, like... within last week or so (I'm bad at keeping time). I'm wondering if you would be able to put the X3 BIOS on your Xbox because it is 1mb... X2 is 512k... and if you already have X2 BIOS on there, then I would just go with the 5028 X2 BIOS.

ok im lost now i have the new bios on my comp and i want to fpt it to my xbox but what files do i put in to the xbox im so lost now ive backed up my c and e on my box so if i mess up i can reload them
if some one can step by step for me this would be realy kool and maybe u could put it on other sites i cant be the only loser that needs this kinda help

THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU GET HERE ARE FOR INSTALLING THE XECUTER BIOS FILES TO A MOD CHIP.

Doing a TSOP flash is an entirely different beast. As has been said before, go to www,xbox-scene.com and ask the same question you asked here in their TSOP forum.

You might get a straight answer here, but I doubt it. Most of us plonked down the $$$ to buy a mod chip.

Flashing TSOP

If you want to upgrade your TSOP with the newest x2 bios (5032), just make a 1 mb '.bin' file using 'X2 bios manager'. I created a 1mb file using the new X2 bios file (512kb) and two Flashbios files (256 kb each). If your Xbox TSOP was previously flashed without a modchip, then you probably have the correct wires soldered on the motherboard still (i'm guessing). If so, then create a folder on your C drive named 'bios' and put the new 1mb bios file in there. Then load up Evox and under the 'System Utils' option, select 'Flash Bios'. Another menu will come up and you should see your bios file in there. You might have to rename the bios file to 'bios.bin', but i'm not sure. Select the bios file, and hopefully everything will work out ok, otherwise you're doomed!!!!! (this is for xbox ver. 1.0 and 1.1 only)
