Hi,
i've been searching quite a lot so far.
I just install a X3 on my xbox v1.6, and i realized that flashbios v3.0.0 is installed on it, for some reason i download flashbios v3.0.1 but i looking for the way to install it on the x3, i try different solution so far but i still have flashbios v3.0.0 on the screen.
So if someone has got the solution i will be happy.

Thanks

let me make it clear. If you flash flashbios to replace flashbios, what will your get? Flashbios right?

For starters, you have v1.6 so flashbios 3.0.0 will work so you don't need to flash it to 3.0.1 prior to flashing an X3 bios

Third, you need to go to Xbins and download hacked X3 bios. Newest bios version is 3108.

Forth, make sure your switches configuration is set to : on on off off off

Couple of links for you:

Xbins: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php

Flashbios tut: http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/

The information is correct. The bios manager can be used to make a 1MB FlashBios file for the X3. I have done it myself. The FlashBIOS that is downloaded is a 256kb file, with the X2 Bios Manager you can make it a 1MB file and then change the version of the flashbios. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Thanks for all message, i'm thinking that if they're new flasbios release it's for some reason, to fix some trouble it's why i wanted to update it. i try the tutorial for team xecuter but my flasbios stay with 3.0.0, not getting updated to 3.0.1 or 3.0.2beta.
So i thought that i've done something wrong during the update.

Thank anyway

Did you use the bios manager to make a 1MB file instead of the 256? If not make sure you are using a 1MB file and then give it a try.
