LITEON 83850 v1 How to just write a firmware on my drive with a random key from jf database?

Hi,

I have a LiteOn drive that is not working because of a bad flash and i also lost the key. (tray does not open)
But I didn't need this drive till know because I took the older flashed Hitachi drive from my older and destroyed box and used it in the newer box.

But now with the dashboard update I need a LiteOn drive, so I can update!

So what I wanna do, is, use a random original key from jungleflasher database and write original firmware on the drive. Then the xbox update should do its work and I should be able to switch back to my Hitachi drive.

But in the tutorial I can't find a chapter like " write firmware to a phat liteon"

Can someone show me the way?

some told me to use i prep for this i have one to do as well so will be looking closely

The xbox wount update if the drive does not have the correct key. If mean to say that the lite-on drive is bricked which will not open or nothing(Dead), you can just hit lite-on erase on jungle flasher, power sicle the drive, and your drive should now be on vendor mode. All you have to do now is put the firmware you want t write to the drive, and write to it.

Does anyone know why my drive is not detected from jungleflasher? When I power on my drive before booting, my PC stops loading in BIOS and continues when I switch off the drive.
