How to make an Iso-file start on your xbox..??

Hi!
I have a problem.
I don't know how to make my downloads to start on the xbox.
For example, I downloaded a game as an iso file and runed it XisoManager and then just burned it into a DVD.
Nothing happens when I start the xbox. I want it to start like an original game.

What else shall I do??

Firstly, you are clearly talking piracy here! take that somewhere else!!!!

Secondly learn how to use your PC and DVD writing software. This is a user error.

Infact i am in a bad mood today, why do you people come here, to a product support forum and ask if anyone knows how to write an illegaly downloaded game. Just because you have a product that allows you to play backed up discs(of which you should own the original), you think it's your god given right to come and shout about it here. It's not - you people are a pain in the ass. If you have a computer - learn how to use it!!!!! If you have a sensible question to ask - then ask it! people, including me will be glad to help with sensible questions.

Do some search on the net, read nfo files that comes with the game and you should be able to find a way.

BTW! Buy the game if you like and then make a proper backup of it...

yeh, i guess i might have been a bit harsh. I probably would not have thrown my toys out of my pram if he has been a bit more subtle. For example, I have an ISO file that I need to burn to disc. I have tried everything but cannot get it to work. I have windows XP and Nero, can anyone help.

Like you said though, do some research!!!! I mean if the guy does not know how to burn an ISO he really needs to learn some computer basics.

Sorry if I offended anyone with my remarks, was having a bad day. I am smoking again now so the world seems a less stressful place!

Hey I have a simular problem but in reverse I have an ISO and I want to I guess you would call it extracting the files from the cd image to an actual folder. I have been searching these forums for a topic about it but havent had much luck so I posted here seeing how it is some what relevant.

Craxtion (I think that's the spelling) is an XISO utility that extract files. I've used it for this exact purpose when I wanted to pull data back out of an installer ISO I created and put together a new config. You can probably find details and a download at Xbox-Scene.
