How to proceed before updating Switch's firmware and SX OS

I already have a Switch in v5.1.0 ejecuting SX OS 1.9. Now my intention is updating both, so what should I update first, Switch or SX OS.

Firstable I wil backup the nand because I didn't, I just read about it a few weeks ago.

On the other hand, I have read about 'burning efuses', what is it all about?

Update SXOS first. Then update to 6.2.0 using choidujournx which will prevent the fuses from being burnt. Fuses being burned prevent the system from being downgraded to a lower firmware for security reasons.

Two options:

1. You can download the update from their portal (https://sx.xecuter.com/) and place the boot.dat on the root of your microSD card replacing the old one.
2. Boot up your switch into the CFW and do the follow:
   
   [-] Make sure wifi is enabled and you are connected to the internet
   [-] Navigate to the "Album APP"
   [-] Navigate to the Options tab.
   [-] Select Update SX OS
   

option 1: offline
option 2: online
