Hi,
i would to know if a bad nand dump is repairable. I started RGH with dashboard 13604 using coolrunner.
I've read CPU key from Xell. Just perfect.
I try to flash a freeboot based on 14699 kernel and console doesn't boot. So I prepare a freeboot based on 13609 kernel and it boots but i have not vertical menù. I can navigate only First menù (that one with open tray, games, settings ecc..). I think my dump is bad and I would to know if I can repair it.
Help me, thanks.

did you already try to run your NAND dump through multi_builder and create a retail image for it? Flash this to the console and make sure it works. If it does, use this image to create an RGH one.

No I didn't. I will try (I hope tomorrow, today I'm away from home) and say.
Multi_builder is able to create a working retail image? What does it need to do that? the cpu_key?

Yep, use the cpukey.txt and original NAND (named nanddump.bin) and when you select the board type you have, select Retail Image.
I've downloaded multi_builder 0.7 and I'm tryng to generate a retail nand. From menù I read "Retail MS Image 14699". Is it good for me? my original dump is from 13609.
