how to replace old lite on 16d2s with a new 16d2s?

The tutorial is a little confusing. I have my old drives files, I bought a new drive and would like to use the new drive in the old drives xbox360. Is it possible to do this without soldering?

u will need your old drive keys to flash over to ur new / replacement drive no soldering needed

Yep, just load your old dummy.bin into JF, and go through the normal steps on the replacement drive (erase / write). You obviously don't need to read the key on the replacement drive.

So the source is the old dummy.bin and the target is lt 3.0?
