I'm just wondering guys, how I can replace the USB Ports on the front of a phat rgh? One of my usb ports, the thing inside snapped off, making it useless. Also, is it possible to use like a usb splitter? So I could use the working one, to power a jump drive and controller?

Never tried using a hub so can't comment on that, I have swapped out a few USB towers though.
You're going to need a heavy weight soldering iron to lift the tower from the board though, no cheapo hobby iron.

I have managed to unsolder one from a dead motherboard and resoldered it in my jtag with no problem what so ever...I only used a £20 soldering iron too......

If u have a aoyue or some other hot air station use that and a solder sucker to get the broken one off then just replace it and solder the new one in.

I have done the front USB port hub before, it's not that hard with a wand, you just want to watch your temps and shield the area with the proper type of tape.
