Hello,

I ruined up at the back of my slim motherboard the pad where the Yellow wire must be connected. (C).

Tonel from the Jtag360 irc give me an image:

The red point is alternative for my yellow wire and i found it under my fan.

My problem is if i put flux and after it solder onto that point the solder wont be attached to the point.

Can anyone help me how i put a bit solder onto this pad and continiue my RGH.

Thanks in advance.

you need to scrape the point al little bit so the metal is exposed or w/e you want to call it.

Be very carefull not ruin this point also then you're in trouble!

Use solder paste instead, much easier when soldering to delicate points.

Maybe you should sodder to trace line leading up to this point and securing it with hot glue.

Use a 30 awg wire instead. It is much easier to solder a thinner wire to such a point.

Thats right, you want to see nice shiny copper and the solder should stick to the point no problem.

Also make sure your iron is clean and tinned.

Thanks for al the answers, i need to put the iron into the hole and hit my solder to the iron?
I hope you havent created a hole already, then you may have ruined this point also:frown:

As Sean said heat point with iron and then add solder.
Remove iron as soon as solder flows and it should stick.
