Can you get banned doing this? People are saying:
The setting that you are looking for within your DashLaunch launch.ini file is called noupdater = true. When set to true, your console will block all M$ updates. When this setting is set to false, your console will be capable of locating and running all system updates. You should always set this to true or make sure the setting is removed entirely from your launch.ini. If not present, it will be set to it's default value of true.
it works consistently if you pull the psu, wait 30sec, insert thumbdrive and power on. What I recommend is to copy the $systemupdate folder, rename it to $$ystemupdate, so you have TWO folders on your thumbdrive. Also, if you have dashlaunch set to load FSD/FS3/etc on boot, HOLD RB when powering on
