How to Update Dashboard

I want to double check before i mess anything up...


I can simply update the retail dashboard via Xbox Live and it will simultaneously update RGH NAND, thats it?

It wont simutaneously update the RGH nand, you will need to build a new image using JRunner and flash it to your RGH nand. You have the stock nand down though, XBL will update just fine.

Yes, you do already have RGH 2, correct?

Yes, you need to RGH 2 first - you can update to 14XXX with USB and dump your stock nand that way. This is a phat console?

no this is a trinity slim thats on like 14719

Oh, then you are already RGH 2'd. In that case, update your stock nand with XBL and build your 15XXX nand with JRunner to flash your glitch nand. Enjoy!

So retail is on 14719 - what RGH image do you have on the DemoN NAND?

14719 im pretty sure on both. well JR is crashing everytime i try to write the nand...

thats what i get from the crash info, happens everytime. it works one day, now it hates me

It's completely PC related. I suggest getting Windows reinstalled.

well this happened on my laptop but somehow i fixed it, anyways i used my laptop and its working. im using a REV B CR with the CR_EN alternate point.

for REV B RGH2 should i just remove the C15 and flash it with RGH2 timing files?

this question shows you need to learn and read much more. Trinity ONLY have rgh2. No rgh1.

It's a slim. Theyre all RGH2 by design. Have you learned nothing?

oh, fail.... well i read they had same wiring....

well i hope it didn't affect anything if i flashed CR and created wrote ecc created image and flash it to 15574...

Your first mistake is still not understanding what you're doing.

Why on earth would you be messing with the wiring ?????

because whilst having troubles writing the nand i double checked the demon to make sure its points were fine.

i didn't know they were both same timing files on the trinity
