How to update FlashBios from 3.0.1 to 3.0.3?

Why would you want to, if your system already has X3 bios you can use X3CL to flash to the chip from now on unless your on a 1.6(b) box and actually need the 3.0.3 to get it flashed in the first place so you'll need to get either another box to flash it, send it back and request it changed from where you bought it or use a slayers CD or something of the sort to do it.
With another (modded) box you could dump Evox on the drive and flash it using evox. Slayers CD information can be gotten by looking at xbox-scene.com 
If you have x3live running I would just copy the flashbios3.0.3 bin to c:\bios using FTP. Then I would use x3live to flash it to the backup rom.

I'm having this same problem, I think I need to update my xbox, but this is all new info to me, can some one guide me in the right direction,
ok i've just flashed my 256k backup from from 3.0.0 to 3.0.3 it said it was flashed fine but when i press eject/power button to verify it worked all i'm getting is a black screen
any ideas anyone my box is a 1.6

Are you using the component (high def) cable? If so switch it out for the standard cable. Flashbios won't display using the component cable.
