How to update FlashBios?

Yes, that is one way to do it. If you have the x3, and it is a newer chip, it should have both bios loaded.
To boot to the 3.0.3, put your switch settings to off,on,off,off,off.
To boot to the 3.0.3, put your switch settings to off,on,off,off,off.
I have a Ver.1 box with X3 just installed. All voltages on Pin Header are correct. D0 has Continuity. When I boot, with banks 1 & 2 on, I get sound, no video. If I boot using your off, on, off, off, off I get a 3.0.0 Flash Bios Screen. This is my second X3 install, first one was on a Ver. 1.6 and all is fine.
Should I set my switches to 1 & 2 on and flash the 3.0.3 Flash Bios to them and then install my 2913 Bios file? Thanks.

you are fine with 3.0.0 actually. I would set the switches to off on off off off to get flashbios 3.0.0. Once get to flashbios, switch your switches to on on off off off and flash to 2913 or 2914 bios. Make sure to use bios for v1.0 xbox and not for v1.6.
Thanks. Two heads are better than one. When I made the 2913 DVD disk it was for a Ver.1.6. Forgot there was a different ver. for the 1.0 to 1.5. Never figured I'd need it.
