Quick question here guys. Is this a go for all Zephyrs? Sorry if it sounds stupid...I've E79 my Zephyr twice now trying to update. Did they fix the alt_smc tray open option? Also with the alt_smc can I update with flash360? The Zephyr CB is 4558 so I don't know if that makes a difference. Again sorry...Just don't wanna get an error again. Or possibly find out if I was doing something wrong in the first place.

I just updated to 2.21 on my 12611 system and was wondering - do I need the Avatar update? The only reason I ask is because I changed the folder name to $$ystemupdate, put it on the root of a USB stick, but the update failed when I tried it...something about "Can't install update" and gave a status code.

^ Delete the default.xex file from the folder. Then see if the update works.

lmfao i wont say i told you so M and i only change the tut last night and took it off about the default.xex lol also when you have to rename it like so >> $$ystemUpdate its got to do with when you run dashlaunch installer it will block all M$ updates from USB / Disc / Net

if you mean your using your original nand which you should be and you make a fb 12625 and name it updflash its not going to be the same as your original nand but it will be the same size.

The MD5 checksum will always be different in every freeBOOT image you make...But they will all work fine

I did PRESS A Raw Flash keeping current kv/config, since the kv/config work good in the system. I just keep it like that. it works fine for me. and I did the same thing when I update the 12611.

Hi all, Ultra Noob Here. I will be attemting to jtag my 360 2mora hopefully (if diodes come)
I have Xenon unit And under system info it says D:2.0.6683.0 K:2.0.6683.0 (BK:2.0.1880.0)
After jtag i will be installing xexmenu, backing up nand 3 times, checking them, installing xell, getting cpu key. Will i then be safe to follow this tut and flash 12625 to my system. I have searched this whole thread to try finding my answer before asking.
Big thanks to johnny2good for this tut. The best 1 i have found and trust me, i have done a lot of searching.

yes once you have everything installed you will be fine to do the Tut green_fingers but if i was you buddy i'd update the dash before you Jtag look here nice easy Tut to get you on your way.... Dashboard Update To 7371 For Freeboot

Before you Jtag Update that dash is safe you will still be able to Jtag the 360 after the update...
