I haven't been on these forums in ages, but I'm glad to see that it's still active! I left because I moved on to PC gaming, but I'm back to see if I can finally do a bit of modding on my Trinity Slim 360.
Here's the setup: I have a Trinity 360 with a 9504 Drive that's been updated to 0272 by the system updates. I was recently browsing eBay and I noticed that there are a lot of unlocked PCBs for sale that are less than $15, which would make this a perfect project.
My question is, if I get an unlocked PCB, how would I go about using it? I can't seem to find an X360USB Pro or a VIA 6421 card anywhere for sale, and I'm wondering if Jungleflasher is still around, and if it works with any SATA chipset. I have a fairly new Haswell motherboard, and I'm not sure if it's going to be supported. What do you guys think? Is it worth it? Or should I go the RGH route instead for a bit more $$$?
