I have a version 1.0 xbox, a 160 gig harddrive, and an x3 chip installed. What can the g drive be used for? I have tried putting games on it, but they dont show up in evox games menu. Is there something I need to modify? Any help will be appreciated, because that 30 gigs are a waste to me right now.

Edit your Evox file. I believe it's XML... or ini, The setup file. Where it has "F:\Games" Add a "G":\Games" in the same format, right below it. Then the Dashboard will list the games.

When I boot up, it says G:\ drive has 0 space. Is this true? What is it there for even? I have a 120 gig drive

it has 0 space if you didnt give it any space.... I believe G is for drives larger then 133 GB... Maybe whatever thing your using, just checks for "c,D,E,F,G, Y,Z, Ect... tells how much space there is, even if there isnt one?

modified the evox.ini file.

about halfway through the file you will see a section dedicated to the menu. there will be a sub section for Play Games loaded on HDD. under that you will see:
{
Line "- Games on the Hard Drive -",2
AutoAddItem "E:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "E:\HDDLoader\"
AutoAddItem "f:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "f:\HDDLoader\"
SortAll
}

change it to this where g:\games is the directory on g for your games

{
Line "- Games on the Hard Drive -",2
AutoAddItem "E:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "E:\HDDLoader\"
AutoAddItem "f:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "f:\HDDLoader\"
AutoAddItem "g:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "g:\HDDLoader\"
SortAll
}

Why do yo even want a G drive, I have a maxtor 7200 RPM 200Gb HD and I formatted it and set in the X3 config live to "F gets all, no G drive" and I showed like 192 Gb on the F drive therefore no need for a G drive

keep the g drive for temporary backups and movies. keep the f drive for your "permanent" backups. this will minimize fragmenting your HD. not a great idea to constantly copy and delete big files.

G:\ = 0

In X3 config live it say's my 160GB HDD has G:/ @ 22 GB. I installed slayer's EvoX and it say's G:/ has 0 b. What gives?
How do I use the rest of my Harddrive?
Or what can I do to change this?

Thanks!
