ANSWERED How to use JTAG_ALT_V1 QSB in place of JTAG_ALT_V2 QSB on Phat install.

Hello,

Brand new to console modding and running into an issue installing CR4 XL with JTAG_ALT_V1 QSB on a Phat Zephyr board.

I purchased all the components together without doing enough research and ended up with a JTAG_ALT_V1 QSB instead of the V2. Now as I am installing using the online tutorial I realized that the V1 does not have a solder point for Q2N1

The tutorial Im using says a JTAG_ALT_V1 QSB can be used in place of the V2 using electrical tape, however it does not go into further detail on how to do that.

Any help is very much appriciated as I don't want to order another QSB if I don't need to.

just lay some tape down to the motherboard underneath the circled point and solder the wire to the point that is circled to Q2N1

Just stick a piece of tape under the left side so it doesn't touch the motherboard
