I'm wondering if anyone can give me step by step instuctions how to take a downloaded xbox game on the computer, and get it installed in the xbox with a burnt disc. I'm using an xecuter 2 chip.

I tried doing this by using Qwix 1.01, but i'm new at this and it hasn't worked for me

you can backup your original copies of the games you own, by inserting the original into the dvd drive of your box and ftp'ing over all the files from the D drive, and then make an xISO of it, both ftp and xISO can be done using Qwix and burn it to a dvd using nero

Somewhere in Indian Ocean
making an iso using qwix

So you want to create an ISO image of your Xbox dvd drive to your
pc? Well, it's just as simple as it gets...
Double click the "Qwix.exe" and you should see the following

The first time you run it asks you to create an FTP connection.
Click OK and you see

Click the “ADD” button then select “New Connection” to add an FTP connection.

Add a description, the xbox ip address When done click “OK”. Click
“Test Connection” . Once connection is verified then you see

Right first thing to do is boot your favourite MOD dash and turn off the game autorun feature so when you put the disk in it doesn’t launch. Right put the game disk in the Xbox dvd drive
OK, The software defaults to the “Load ISO” section. Click “Create ISO” and you’ll see this

Click the Radio button marked “FTP Folder” and type in d:\ as you see above

Now as long as the dash is booted, the disk is in the drive and your Active Connection is good then you can create an ISO
(TIP click the browse button and browse the D drive you should see all the files as below)

OK now that’s confirmed click the button “Create ISO”, you will be asked for a target folder and filename on your pc to store the ISO image

I am creating an ISO called Test.iso and saving it at root of my PC F drive. Click “Save” and the files should start transferring as you see below

When finished you will be presented with a dialog box like so

This is self explanatory really.
At this point your done, click “OK”. Go into Nero and burn the image to a DVD-R at low speed and bingo
Good luck!!!;)

thanks for the help.

Will this also work when i already have an .ISO image file loaded on my computer, and burning it to a dvd disk with nero and putting it in the xbox, without connecting the pc and xbox?

Does it have to be done by having the xbox and pc connected?

How about you try buying the games instead of stealing them?
