I'M NEW TO MODING I HAVE V. 1.6B XBOX WITH X3 AND I JUST UPDATED BIOS TO V. 3.03 BUT WHEN I PUT MY BURNED XBOX GAME INTO THE DRIVE HOW DO I TURN IT ON TO PLAY BECAUSE IT WONT WHAT IS THE MOST COMPATIBLE DISCS TO USE I HEARD RICOTECH G04 OR G05 WAS GOOD IS THIS SO. THE DISC SAYS XBOX CAN'T READ DISC. IT SAYS THIS BEFORE AND AFTER I INSTALLED THE CHIP.

Make sure you are burning it correctly, using qwix or craxtion maybe. Look at the guide on the teamxecuter.com site. You can't straight up burn from your computer dvd rom drive; the x-box has a diffferent file system. The guide is called "Burn with Qwix."
OK THEN IF I BURN THE GAME CORRECTLY DO I TURN ON TH XBOX TO THE MICROSOFT DASH AND THEN INSERT GAME OR DO I NEED TO LOAD TO THE X3 DASH AND DO SOMETHING SPECIAL. I CREATED AN ISO WITH ANOTHER PROGRAM AND BURNED TO MEMOREX DVD-R BUT IT STILL WON'T WORK THANK YOU.

You say you updated your bios to 3.0.3, that'd be the flashBIOS, you have flashed the X3 with Bios 1959 ? You can get into X3 config live and/or which ever dashboard you choose ?

Like he said Flash the chip with a BIOS not a flashbios......the flashbios will not run unsigned code...such as your backed up game....and TURN OFF THE CPAS :roll:

Go to the msdash and try a music cd you burned in there to test the disc. What drive have you got, to find this out post waht shape the hole is in the middle of the tray when u eject it. Is it a U shape, is it straight with a circle at the end, or does it have more than one hole?
U = thomson
Straight with circle = philips
Wierd or holey = samsung
When you have found out what drive you have, go to community forums on this site, and look at xbox media/compatibility. There are loads of these posts with info on what discs your drive reads. This will save you a lot of money.
You must have a working bios to read games though.

The thing is I wasnt the original flasher and dont have this drive's key. Will I be able to do this without this drive's key without messing it up? By just loading OFW then flashing to LT? Thanks for your response btw.jimbojimjay said:just read it again then flash

because its got 1.6 ixtreme on, you can use the get dummy from ixtreme function within jungleflasher,this will get your dummy for that drive then you can flash to LT.please note that once flashed to LT that function will no longer be available
so save that dummy in as many places as you can for any future upgrades.

Ah okay, great will do. I thought that key was already lost and gone.
